A Family Business

DG Pro Drywall Inc. was founded in 1988 by Laval Grondin and Denis Grondin; two brothers passionate of their careers. They grew-up in a family of 11 members on a farm, in a small town in Quebec. Everyone had to put their hands to work to help the family. Since a young age Laval Grondin was always helping his parents and neighbours doing handiwork from personal effort, which led him to become a welder for 5 years in Quebec. He then moved on to drywall installation for 38 years in Quebec, Edmonton, Vancouver and Ottawa. After lots of amazing years in the construction industry, Laval Grondin retired in 2017 and delegated his role to his brother Denis Grondin.

Denis Grondin now CEO and Owner of DG Pro Drywall Inc., did his post-secondary education in the making of furniture in which he pursued for 12 years. When the factory closed, Laval Grondin was seeking for a new partner and asked his brother to join him in the drywall business. After 37 years in the construction and drywall industry in different locations around Canada (Quebec, Vancouver and Ottawa), Denis Grondin is still grateful today of all the knowledge he achieved from his past experiences with all his clients.

As DG Pro Drywall Inc. is always growing, they want to give what’s best for their customers. Carissa Grondin, daughter of Denis Grondin, passionate of management, marketing, communication and arts did her studies at the University of Ottawa. Since a young age, she loved directing, planning and organizing big events and projects when she had the occasion. CEO, Co-Owner, and Head of Operations of DG Pro Drywall Inc., Carissa is now a part of the family business.
